Who can use Somnee?Updated 2 months ago

We designed Somnee for nearly any adult who wants to improve their sleep.

However, there are some populations who should not use Somnee:
- are not capable of giving consent
- are under 18 years old
- are a woman who is pregnant or possibly pregnant (neurostimulation has not been thoroughly studied in pregnant women)
- have epilepsy or a history of seizures
- have an active, implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other neurostimulator
- have a skull defect (i.e., plate in the skull or previous reconstructive skull surgery) or any implant in the portion of the skull overlying the brain (neurocranium)

*Individuals with acne or skin abrasions on their foreheads should wait for their skin to fully heal before using Somnee.

Note: Somee is intended for general wellness — not for the diagnosis, curing, prevention, or treatment of any disease or medical condition.

If you have any questions or concerns about your sleep health or Somnee's suitability for you, please consult your primary healthcare provider before using Somnee. Please do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking advice.
