The electrodes aren't touching my forehead or keep losing contactUpdated 2 months ago

If your electrodes keep losing contact, there's a few things you can try:

1. Make sure the headband is snug, but not uncomfortable.

2. Adjust where the headband loop sits around your head.
Some find they have more consistent contact when the back of the headband sits higher up on their head, and others when it sits lower, closer to the nape of the neck. Experiment to find which feels better for you.

3. Make sure skin and electrodes are clean.
We advise washing your forehead with water and fully drying it before starting a Somnee session. Make sure electrodes are clean and haven't been out for more than 3 days. When putting Somnee on, pull back hair to make sure nothing impedes the sensors.

4. Minimize movement
Avoid brushing your teeth, eating, or more vigorous movement which can shift the headband and disrupt contact.
