My hydrogel electrodes feel dry and it’s only been 1 or 2 days.Updated 2 months ago

If the hydrogel on your electrodes feels dry, we recommend replacing them with a new set of electrodes. (Dry electrodes may result in discomfort during your stim session.)

To prevent drying, store your electrodes at room temperature. Heat/light may dry out the gel faster and cold weather may change the consistency of the sticky pads.

Protect the electrodes on your Somnee headband by pressing them against the charging base when storing your Somnee between sessions. This helps retain their moisture and protect them from particles.

If you run out early or need replacements, you can request fresh electrodes in the app (free of charge).

From the app homescreen, click on the profile icon in the upper right corner. Scroll down to "Support," and click "Request electrodes." Or, let us know at [email protected] and we’ll send you a new pack.
