What's new/changed with stim reports and overnight sleep reports with Somnee 2.0?Updated 2 months ago
In 2025, the Somnee app underwent a major makeover. Our goal: to make the Somnee experience even more streamlined, user-friendly, easy-to-use, insightful, personalized, and fun!
Here's a quick look at all the changes in the Somnee App:
→ Overnight reports, now available!
Somnee V1 was designed for just 15-minute use a night to improve your nightly rest. With good sensor contact, we'd provide reports on your stim session that featured scores for your brain's preparedness for a good night's sleep.
Somnee V2 is designed for max-comfort, all-night wear, collecting 40x the data as the most popular trackers! In the morning, just set your Somnee to charge and in ~15 minutes, we'll deliver a personalized sleep report featuring key insights into:
- Sleep stages, displayed in a clear, clinical hypnogram
- Sleep quality
- Wake-ups
- Time to fall asleep
- Sleep efficiency
- Sleep schedule
- And more.
→ Where to find your reports
When you open the app, click on the graph icon on the bottom of the screen. This will take you to your reports page, featuring 3 tabs: Sleep, Stim, and Journal.
In the sleep tab, you'll be able to review your sleep reports.
If you don't wear your Somnee all night, don't worry - you'll still receive our new and improved stim reports, now streamlined for even easier insights.
To view a report from a different day, click on the date at the top of the report screen. You can then select any date with a circle around it, which indicates a report is available.
→ Not seeing your reports?
If you don't see a sleep report for that day, make sure your headband is charging properly. This begins your data upload, which takes approximately 15 minutes.
If you still don't see your reports, try swiping down on the screen to refresh the page. You can also go to the homescreen and click on the headband icon in the upper left corner. Scroll down and click on "manually sync data." If your headband maintained good contact overnight, a report should populate in ~15 minutes.
